Tata Sierra Jubilee Edition Introduced With Accessory Packs

Tata Motors is celebrating a new landmark for the Sierra with the introduction of the Jubilee Edition. Having crossed the 50,000-unit sales mark, the SUV is now available with curated dealer-fitted accessory packs across select variants. Instead of adding a new trim to the line-up, the carmaker has bundled together a range of cosmetic and convenience accessories, giving buyers the option of choosing a pre-accessorized Sierra straight from the dealership.

The Smart+ Jubilee Edition receives front grille add-ons and tailgate cladding to give the SUV a more distinct look. The package also includes roof rails, semi-leatherette seat covers, four speakers, a 10.25-inch touchscreen information system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a rear parking camera.

The Pure Jubilee Edition builds upon this with the same grille add-on and tailgate cladding, while adding wheel arch cladding, a parcel tray, magnetic sunshades, leatherette seat covers, a leatherette steering wheel cover, and front and rear dash cameras.

For buyers looking for a more rugged appearance, the Adventure Jubilee Edition comes equipped with Tata Motors’ full ROQ accessory kit along with a dash camera.

The Jubilee Edition is not a standalone variant but a collection of dealer-established accessory bundles tailored to each trim. Customers can also skip the bundled packs and choose individual accessories à la carte to personalize their Sierra as per their requirements.

Tata Motors is yet to announce fixed prices for these accessory packs. Interested buyers can contact their closest dealership for variant-wise pricing and details of the available Jubilee Edition packages.

To mark the first 50,000-unit sales of the new Sierra, Tata Motors has disclosed the Jubilee Edition for its Smart+, Pure and Adventure trims. Depending on the trim, accessories from the Sierra’s ROQ range are on offer, along with a couple of features that are not otherwise offered on those trims. Prices for the Jubilee Edition have not been officially revealed at the time of writing. The current Sierra was launched by Tata Motors in November last year and deliveries began in January.

On the entry-level Sierra Smart+, the Jubilee Edition adds front grille and tailgate cladding, roof rails, semi-leatherette seat covers with Jubilee Edition branding, a 4-speaker audio system, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen information system with wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a rear-view camera.

For the one-above-base Sierra Pure trim, the Jubilee Edition adds cladding for the front grille, tailgate and wheel arches, sideways roof rails, semi-leatherette seat covers, a leatherette steering wheel cover, magnetic sunshades, a parcel tray, and front and rear dash cameras.

Tata Sierra powertrains and rivals

The Sierra is offered with three engine options. The first is a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 160hp and 255Nm, paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. There’s also a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with peak outputs of 106hp and 145Nm, available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutter automatic gearbox. Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine develops 118hp and is offered with a 6-speed manual (260Nm) or a 6-speed automatic (280Nm).

Rather than being a separate factory-produced variant, the Jubilee Edition comprises curated, dealer-fitted accessory packages offered with select Sierra trims.

The special edition is being presented in three configurations —Smart+ Jubilee Edition, Pure Jubilee Edition and Adventure Jubilee Edition. Each package targets a different type of buyer, ranging from customers seeking essential infotainment and convenience upgrades to those wanting a more rugged-looking Sierra.

Prices are ex-showroom and may vary depending on the selected powertrain, transmission and dealer-fit accessories.

The regular Tata Sierra range currently starts at Rs 11.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Hence, the entry-level Jubilee package carries a relatively modest premium while adding several commonly requested features and accessories.

Smart+ Jubilee Edition: More Features for the Base Variant

Starting at Rs 11.99 lakh, the Smart+ Jubilee Edition is arguably the most functionally important package of the three. It adds equipment that can make the entry-level Sierra substantially more convenient for everyday use.

At an indicated premium of approximately Rs 50,000 over the regular Smart+ trim, the package could appeal to customers who otherwise would have considered installing an aftermarket touchscreen, camera and seat upholstery separately.

Pure Jubilee Edition: Convenience and Cabin Protection

The Pure Jubilee Edition is priced at Rs 13.39 lakh. Its accessory package focuses on cabin protection, everyday practicality and surveillance equipment.

At the top of the special-edition line-up is the Adventure Jubilee Edition, priced from Rs 16.19 lac. This version is aimed primarily at buyers who want a more rugged and outdoors-oriented appearance.

The bonnet scoop is also expected to be a styling accessory rather than a functional air intake. Buyers should therefore view the Adventure Jubilee Edition as a visual customization package instead of a mechanical or off-road upgrade.

No Mechanical Changes

The Jubilee Edition does not introduce any changes to the Sierra’s engines, transmissions, suspension or safety structure. The SUV continues with its existing petrol and diesel powertrain options, depending upon the selected variant.

Similarly, features such as airbags, electronic stability control, braking hardware and driver-assistance equipment remain dependent on the underlying Sierra trim.

This distinction is important because the Jubilee Edition name might otherwise suggest a conventional special edition with factory-fit upholstery, an exclusive exterior color or uniquely branded trim elements.
