Indian cricketing legends attended the event dressed to the nines. Here’s a look at what the women cricketers wore to the occasion.
Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepika TC
Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur and women’s blind cricket team captain Dipika TC also attended the Reliance Foundation event in Mumbai. Whereas Deepika chose an elegant and classic black suit with a white button-down and a simple centre-parted, half-tied hairdo, Harmanpreet looked chic in a black and red saree paired with a black blouse and a brocade-embroidered corset.

Smriti, Arundhati and Radha chose chic outfits for the occasion. While Smriti chose an emerald green gown with front pleats and a cropped blazer worn on top, Arundhati donned a gray suit embellished with silver embellishments. Indian cricket champion Jemimah Rodrigues looks lovely in a trendy, all-black outfit featuring a strapless blouse and flared pants. While the top features a peplum silhouette, fitted bodice, and colorful floral embroidery, the pants have a flared silhouette. She completed the look with side-parted loose tresses, chunky bangles, dangling earrings, and minimal glam.

The ever-smiles and confident Harleen made heads turn at the event in a black blazer dress featuring a notch lapel collar, full-length sleeves, a fitted silhouette on the bodice, a flowy skirt, midi hem length, and colorful floral embroidery. Side-parted loose locks, minimal makeup, smoky eyes, a gold bracelet, and a dainty neck chain rounded off the styling.

For the event, Nita picked a stunning rose-pink saree from the celebrity designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The saree featured intricate floral embroidery along the borders, highlighted with delicate white adornments that added just the right touch of glamour.

The former Indian cricketer opted for a simple look for the event, wearing a white, see-through silk blouse paired with a matching white spaghetti-strapped top and black flared trousers. She completed the look with red heels, a small clutch, earrings, bracelets, rings, a red lip, glowy makeup, and loose tresses.

She wore a black blazer embellished with silver embellishments on the arm, featuring a notch lapel collar, full-length sleeves, a front button closure, and a relaxed fit. Reliance Foundation founder-chairperson Nita Ambani hosted three cricket World Cup-winning captains — Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepika TC at the ‘United in Triumph’ in Mumbai on Monday.
The event was organized to honor the efforts of these captains in achieving fierce wins for India and giving Indians “so much joy and happiness.”
“All three cricket teams, the men’s cricket team, the women’s cricket team and the blind cricket team of India are all here under one roof, and on behalf of every Indian, we are going to honor them tonight for giving us so much joy and happiness,” Nita said at the event.
According to a Reliance Foundation press release, Nita Ambani said, “I think we are starting the New Year’s with a very special occasion.”

Talking about the unique power of sport and its transformational impact, she noted that sport joins hearts and India. “Today we are united in triumph. We are going to celebrate them and celebrate their victories.”
At the heart of the celebration were India’s three World Cup-winning captains — Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepika TC — whose leadership, resilience and faith have shaped historic victories and inspired a nation.
About the World Cup-winning teams
Rohit Sharma let men’s T20 World Cup-winning 2024 team beat South Africa by seven runs at Barbados last year on the back of a fine pace choke by India in death overs and a fine half-century by Virat Kohli (76).
Harmanpreet Kaur-led ICC Women’s World Cup-winning team beat South Africa by 52 runs courtesy of all-round shows by Shafali Verma (87 and two wickets) and Dipti Sharma (58 and 5/39) at Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium.
Deepika TC led the blind women’s team, which won the inaugural Women’s T20 World Cup for the Blind by beating Nepal by seven wickets in Sri Lanka last year, pursuing down an easy total of 115 runs.
Team members of these three World Cup-winning teams, such as Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav,Smriti Mandhana, Jemiham Rodrigues and Ganga Kadam, attended the event.

Cricketing greats Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar and Ravichandran Ashwin, Olympic and Paralympic legends, including Murlikant Petkar, Deepa Malik and Devendra Jhajharia, were also present.
