Ragini Awasthi of Unnao has won the gold medal in the National Weightlifting Competition held in Haryana. With this achievement, she has brought honor not only to Unnao but to the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. This is the result of his hard work and discipline.

On the occasion of this glorious achievement, Prakhar Gupta, son of Sadar MLA Pankaj Gupta, reached Ragini Awasthi’s residence and honoured her. In Ragini’s absence, she was presented with a shawl and a memento.

Dr. Manju Shivach, MLA of Modinagar Assembly constituency, organized a felicitation ceremony in her office on Tuesday and honored the promising player of the area, Manisha Sharma. Manisha Sharma won a silver medal in the National Power Lifting Bench Press Championship with a stellar performance. On this achievement of his, the public representatives and area residents present including the MLA congratulated him and wished him a bright future.

The MLA said that such daughters serve as an inspiration to society and prove that any goal can be achieved through hard work and self-confidence.
